Pairs of descending chords and a gently falling flute motif set the stage for this setting of Twila Paris’ beautiful melody and words. Subjects of suffering and devotion alternate as we are drawn to our Savior’s side. Although the season of Lent comes to mind, Lamb of God also makes an effective addition to Communion services throughout the year. Flute part is included in the octavo.

"Lamb of God" is an excellent choral arrangement of the popular gospel song by Twila Paris. Accompaniment and flute (or violin) part add richness and texture to give gravity to the lovely melodic lines. Deceptive cadences throughout add interest to this choral version.
Craig consistently does a fine job with accompaniment colors and hues. This anthem will be very well received in virtually any evangelical setting and will be sung with a great deal of devotion by students and adults alike.

The Bottom Line
