This anthem has been around for years, and it is well suited for many types of choral settings. At YouthCUE, we have found it to be particularly effective in our festival settings. It is highly versatile, calling for a soprano solo voice or semi-choirs in a couple of sections. The YouthCUE orchestration, written by C. L. Bass, is particularly beautiful, colorful, and supportive.
Selected for the 2014 Labor Day at the Cathedral (for adult singers), this anthem will be sung by 200 adults in the National Cathedral with full orchestra.

This is a beautiful anthem for Christmas. It has an boy soprano part, which has a completely different affect than if you just use adult sopranos or a full children's choir. The choir will enjoy singing it.
