The strophic, a cappella Christmas spiritual is easy for young SATB choirs to prepare and is a nice lighter addition to any choral program, even for the strongest of groups. While audiences love a cappella spirituals as a rule, this one is especially rousing when sung by men. Keep the tempo crisp, and sing with a light expression to properly express this fun piece.
