This is a combination of the modern and the traditional. The verse section has a new melody that is quite nice, but the refrain returns to the traditional setting, making this an excellent choice for a director who perhaps wishes to stretch a traditional congregation's palate for new hymn settings. Part-writing is rich and dramatic while being very teachable for any choir.
