This nice piece that utilizes the traditional Agnus Dei translated into English begins and ends with a gentle, thought-provoking, and quietly set simple melody and harmonies. The B section completely changes into a contemporary rhythmic feel. The juxtaposition of the two styles makes it a nice option for a combined youth and adult piece for the director who enjoys creatively "fitting" an anthem to his combined choirs. Perfect for Holy Week, this anthem would also work for general worship.
