Superbly crafted, "tight" setting of the energetic spiritual. Students will find a great deal of fun and enjoyment from the story line, imagery, and the energetic accompaniment that provides strong support throughout the anthem. This anthem will find excellent usage in worship, in concert settings, and in mission projects where choir concerts are presented. Very enjoyable piece to sing.

There are plenty of opportunities in the text to talk about different Bible stories. We used each biblical allusion as a basis for our devotional time in choir rehearsal. We also used this piece during the summer on our mission trip when we were working with children. All audiences enjoy hearing it.
The Bottom Line
Pros
Great teaching piece
