To be at its best, the conductor will have to train the students to find the magical groove for this piece. Plow through it, and it will mean little. Pay attention to the text and the musical nuances, and it is a gem. Transparent, ethereal, and heavenly, young voices are the best to sing this composition about the time when creation will be at one on the holy mountain of the Lord. In a festival setting, this anthem can melt the heart of stone if the students are challenged to really communicate with it and through it. It must be held in reverence and music be sung with the best musical tools the group can muster. Sing it!
