A new SAB version of this delightful classical piece from Haydn's Mass No. 3 in D minor. This paraphrase of Psalm 96 is buoyant and lively. The melody is easily learned and is very well matched with the text. Effective for both church and school use. Also available are reproducible parts for: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet in B-flat, Bassoon, Horn in F, Harp, Violins I and II, Viola, Cello, and Contrabass.

Adapted for the SAB choir, Hal Hopson's revoicing of his SATB version of this portion of Haydn's Mass No. 3 in D-minor makes this historic piece accessible to younger singers and is both successful and satisfying. The accompaniment is also more accessible, while still remaining true to Haydn's original masterwork in a classical style.
The Bottom Line
Pros
An accessible classical anthem from the Haydn for the SAB choir.
