Refreshing and zestful setting of Psalm 47, this piece almost sings itself. Best performed by experienced youth choirs who enjoy a challenge of precision work and exciting choral sounds. This piece is fun as well and approachable, but it is also very transparent and demands a high degree of accuracy. Lends itself to a variety of adlib percussion instruments.

Bradley Ellingboe is not only a great friend and wonderful colleague, but he is also a composer of refreshing choral music that engenders interest and enthusiasm. Church youth choirs and college ensembles across the world have thoroughly enjoyed this setting, and my hunch is that your choir will love it too. Have fun singing and conducting it.
The Bottom Line
Pros
Very appealing and great teaching values
Cons
Toward the end may be too complex for smaller, inexperienced choirs
