The Winter Celebration begins Saturday, February 22 at 12:00 Noon and concludes Sunday, February 23 at 1:30pm (following lunch). Saturday afternoon’s rehearsal will end early so that groups have time for dinner and a fun activity on their own. The official event lasts 26 hours.
Only one night of lodging in Austin (Saturday) is required for the event. Some choirs will choose to arrive Friday night. Lodging arrangements will be handled by each individual director. We are happy to offer a list of convenient, affordable, and safe 3-star and 4-star hotel properties for you.
Repertoire will be announced by October 8. Two of the anthems will be sung from memory … and we will communicate that information along with the release of the repertoire list on October 8. And yes, your choir will be able to learn these pieces in time for Celebration … furthermore, after the Celebration, they will have these pieces ready to sing back home!
Assuming 150 singers, the mass choir will be accompanied by chamber orchestra comprised of some of Austin’s finest Symphony players.

- All Celebration activities at the acoustically wonderful Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church
- Celebration tee shirt (which will be worn with black slacks, black shoes)
- Sunday lunch
- Saturday snacks
- Professional chamber orchestra accompaniment (assuming 150 singers)
- Livestream of Sunday morning worship/concert
